I use it to play my guitar through my powerful home audio system, and use it as a preamp for my electric guitar with a y cable going to the receiver. Lets just say my setup is as loud as a full stack for about 1/50th of the price!! I am glad I did. This amp. is amazing and definitely worth the price. It's so small and light, yet creates such a pure sound. Bottom line, I didn't expect it to sound as good as it does. For a micro-mini amp the Danelectro is great and the price, delivery and packaging were EXCELLENT. You will not go wrong with this amp UNLESS of course your expectations exceed the purpose of this product. I bought the power adapter for it as well rather than relying on battery power but I'm glad it can be used either way. I use it with an inexpensive rubber cup pick-up and have put it to the test on a guitar, dulcimer, baritone uke and a banjo... It's great.
