okay you have chops thats great? wheres the pocket…your suppose to leave the viewers something to hang on too with out a nice pocket all the fills you do would seem pointless i mean hes a great drummer dont get me wrong but drumming is more than just fills and licks and double stroke rolls why is it hard for people to understand that if you want to be an established musician you need to keep a deep pocket idk kinda dissapointed

I think what lost it for him was the fact that he had too much showmanship and not enough groove and playing. Not to mention 1:54 was ripped off of DCI drummers. That move is old news.

It’s an OCDP custom drum set. You can tell because those kits usually have off-set hoops (lugs on top and bottom hoops don’t align).

this dude has the chops and plays traditional ill give him that since no one really plays traditional. but i mean….chill out man. its not about who can do the most tricks. I think if you focus more on the drumming and less on the stick tricks you could win another year.

The section at the halfway mark was great. But at so many points in this video he had me thinking, “dude, what the fuck are you doing….?…just drum.” I mean the guys got skill its obvious, why does he think he needs the shticks. Like when he brushed his hair, it was dope, but when he practicly stopped playing to do it again…wth man. Sometimes too many tricks makes it seem like your hiding behind them to make up for talent. I mean its not that case here, but it makes you think that. right?
