this is absolutely boring regardless of his tequnical abilities. if you want to see some stuff that looks impossible but sounds fantastic then check out some of michael hedges work.

comparing this guy to jimi hendrix is like saying “beethoven is better than curt kobain… just because he was def!”
or saying “i like the taste of banana’s cause they are yellow”
how on earth can you compare this taping / fingerpicking technique with hendrix’ music?
this guy cant do wht hendrix did, hendrix probably couldnt play tunes like this guy… so what?
there is just no point in comparing people… thats all im saying

@rm3cpp I suppose you do bring up a good point. Jimi was revolutionary. Although he did not have as much technical ability in his playing, he WAS one of the first. What I am comparing is the abilities of the two. Although I will not argue that Hendrix was a pioneer of rock guitar, Dominic’s playing is at a much higher level both mentally and physically.

@alanofawesome Depends on your definition of better (and I suppose infinity?). This man has a lot of technical prowess – but so did Hendrix, and Hendrix reshaped the instrument and music in general. This guy (despite playing some interesting music) definitely has not and will not. Let’s not compare them.
