I’ve always used Manhasset stands because they are sturdily and beautifully built. I have now purchased my own Model 51 Fourscore stand and I love it. As the other reviewer stated, it comfortably holds four sheets of music and yes, it will last a long time with proper care.
The assembly is extremely simple and the stand of course, is simple to use. I am now spoiled with this stand because I have gotten accustomed to having four sheets of music in front of me instead of just two. This has been the most wonderful addition to my personal studio.
