I've never played violin before so I wasn't sure if it was going to be something that I would stay interested in. That way it wouldn't be a big waste of money if I decided I didn't want it anymore. <br />If you are a biginner or a young kid I would recommend this as a starter. It's cheap so you get what you pay for but it works. I've had no problems with it. If you are somewhat decent at playing I'd go with a better, higher quality violin though.
